Health and Lifestyle Advice

As an osteopath with a personal training qualification, I can provide a wide range of health advice and guidance on:
  • Exercise: I can design personalised exercise programmes, recommend suitable activities, and provide guidance on proper form and technique.

  • Nutrition: I can offer advice on nutrition and how it can support overall health and recovery. I may recommend dietary changes or a meal plan based on individual needs.

  • Lifestyle factors: I can provide guidance on lifestyle factors that can impact health, such as sleep, stress management, and hydration.

  • Injury prevention: I can identify potential risk factors for injuries and recommend strategies to prevent them.

  • Pain management: I can teach patients self-management techniques for pain, such as stretching, relaxation techniques, and posture correction.

  • Posture and ergonomics: I can assess posture and provide advice on improving ergonomics at work and home.

  • Weight management: I can help patients develop healthy weight management strategies, including exercise and nutrition.

It's important to note that while osteopaths can provide health advice, they are not registered dietitians or nutritionists. Please note that these are health insights that form part of your osteopathic treatment and not a stand-alone session. If you have specific questions about nutrition or dietary needs, it's recommended to consult with a registered professional.
